The 2010 Mission Trip Starts Friday!
The team from Celebration Lutheran Church departs Friday for the 20 hour journey to Ntshongweni in South Africa. We'll be building a playground, painting the community center and having fun with the 70 children in the orphanage with VBS. Please pray that we can share God's love with the people of Ntshongweni. Check back daily for updates on our progress and be certain to let us know what you think by commenting on posts that interest you. We'll be checking every night!

Official day one is done! We went to service this morning and Pastor had the opportunity to do a Confirmation, we watched two baptisms and some other events. I also got to meet up with some of the women, children and workers. I was very excited to see everyone again and that everyone remembered me.
ReplyDeleteIt's around 930 and we have to wake up very early for breakfast and then off to work in the village. Hope everyone is doing well.
